The data present on the internet indicates that it is a competitive market with 19 thousand rentals already present in the market, it is a busy and ever-growing market. Dubai generates almost two thousand in monthly revenue and three thousand dollars in the peak months of March.

There are almost 16 million people who visit Dubai every year. With average monthly revenue of almost $2K, Dubai seems to be a profitable market. The average daily rate in Dubai is $166 but it goes higher in the peak months to $236. The occupancy rate on average is 60% but it goes as high as 85% in the busy months. In Dubai Airbnb is legal but it is regulated. To rent your property, you must first acquire a license from the Dubai department of economy and tourism (DTCM). DTCM also charges an annual registration fee. For registration you need to submit your personal details copy of your Emirates ID card, a passport copy, a title deed, a recent DEWA Bill, and if applicable, the landlord’s No Objection Certificate.

The business how you are goes slow in the months of June and August but then the market picks up the pace and goes high in the months from December to March.

38% of rentals have not imposed any minimum state duration however there are a large number of rentals that have imposed several days of minimum stay duration. There are 6% of rental owners who have imposed more than 30 days of minimum stay duration. The business owner imposes minimum stay duration as a strategy to not let their properties remain without gas on weekends.
